How to send us files over the Internet:
Sending us files over the internet is easy. You can send files by email as attachments up to 20 MB. Please consult your email software’s documentation on how to add an attachment to an email message.
If you are sending image files:
Image files need to be properly named for the transfer. For example, if you are sending a Tif file it should be named something like mypicture.jpg Please avoid spaces in the file names and characters like @%(){}<>?$#/ etc. and always add the proper three digit extension to your file like .tif, .jpg, .gif, .psd so Windows can properly recognize your file.
If you are sending multiple files by email:
Before you send your files by email, check the size of each file in case it exceeds the maximum size your ISP allows you to send in one email. You may have to send your files in batches of one or two.
Preferred file types for Digitally Printed Floor Graphics.
Adobe Illustrator version CS2 .AI or .EPS (300 dpi).
JPEG or TIFF high resolution, CMYK, no compression.
- Please include a separate file for any and all placed bitmaps.
- In order to ensure that all fonts are correct, please convert them to curves or lines.
- Vector files offer greater image quality when enlarging with less degradation.
All bitmap images should be scanned so that their AT FULL SIZE resolution is at least 150 dpi. Remember, the better the quality of the files you provide, the better the quality of the finished product. Please do not send files that have software compression applied to them.
